So not quite the 5* that the past 90 guests have given Poddington Cottage, but still positive comments.

When I asked the guest where I could improve on cleanliness to get our usual 5* (every previous review stated how spotless and clean the cottage is) they didn’t come back with an answer.

He did say with Booking.com he could go back and amend the ratings, so I don’t think this is the first time the guest has been asked to explain his rating.

We do like feedback, as we like to act and make the cottage the best place to spend a few days away relaxing.

Latest guest checked out today after a few days exploring the area. Ideal to visit Bath, Wi******er and the New Forest.
Changeover complete ready to welcome our new guest tomorrow.
September all booked up with some availability for October onwards.

I think the guests enjoyed their stay and it would be lovely to welcome them both back in the future. 😄

It’s been a busy August with back to back bookings.

The first review, guests booked 7 nights, the second guests just wanted to escape London for a couple of days.
We try to accept late bookings, so it’s always worth messaging us for availability.

Now for a busy September.

Throughout October we have mid week and weekends currently available for booking.

Whether it’s a relaxing weekend or sightseeing during the week, there is plenty of places to visit locally.

Last week’s guests loved the cottage. One morning they decided to get up early to see the sun rise at Stonehenge. What a start to the day. 🌅
Lots of English Heritage and National Trust sites to visit within an hour.

Another happy guest using Poddington Cottage as an overnight stay as she travels down South to her new home.
It’s now all ready for tonight’s guest who is staying a couple of nights to explore the area with her teenage son. They especially want to spend time in the New Forest. Lovely weather for it. 🌳🦌🌞
