If you’re new here, here’s a quick introduction to who we are and what we do at MacLennan Waterproofing.

For over 30 years, we’ve been designing, installing, and guaranteeing waterproofing systems across London and the UK. Our work spans high‑end residential projects, commercial developments, and some of the country's most iconic sites, including the basement under Big Ben, the London Olympics Media Centre, and Wembley Stadium.

But most of our day‑to‑day work involves:

Letterboxes and drilled holes through concrete create risk from day one. BS 8102 warns against them for a reason.

At 𝗠𝗮𝗰𝗟𝗲𝗻𝗻𝗮𝗻 𝗪𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗴, we take service penetrations seriously, because they’re one of the most common sources of water ingress in basement structures.
Almost every basement we work on includes service entries. In fact, it’s nearly impossible to build a basement without them. Yet, 𝗕𝗦 𝟴𝟭𝟬𝟮:𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟮 recommends designing them out at the earliest stage where possible. But how realistic is that in practice?
