Both Mary Newman's Cottage and Elliott's Store and Museum will close for the season at the end of this month (September) so there are only a few opportunities left for a final visit.

A Channel 5 documentary maker filmed at Elliott's Store and Museum last month. They spent many hours researching, filming and recording aspects of the change to decimal money, in February 1971. Elliott's provided a perfect location, as the time capsule store has many examples of pre-decimal items, packaging and signage from the days when maths, perhaps, was a "bit harder."
The finished programme will be screened on Sunday 4th May on Channel 5 at 6.30 pm...... entitled: All Change! The Year We Went Decimal. Hopefully Elliott's will be the "Star of the Show."

Elliott's will be open in support of Saltash May Fair on Saturday 3rd May, so why not visit the Store, and also Saltash Heritage [two doors away] and experience times gone by.
Mary Newman's Cottage [Culver Road] will also be open.
