It is close to Sandown Airport (and also Bembridge Airport). Lake Station (nearby) is on the Island's train line and benefits from a regular service between Ryde and Shanklin. Whilst there are a number of commercial/business estates

in the area, Spithead Business Centre is perhaps the biggest and services much of the commercial demand for the east side of the island. Casper Douglas Properties bought Spithead in 2015. The estate had been earmarked for redevelopment and looked to be morphing into a new Sainsbury superstore. However these plans were put on hold when the food retail sector contracted in 2014. Following our purchase, we quickly identified that there was 'life in the old dog yet' and we are now planning to renovate the existing structure over the next few years to protect the long term future of the 8 acre estate.
