Marketing becomes a lot simpler when you strip it back to what you are actually trying to achieve. You want potential clients to notice you, remember you and ultimately choose to work with you.

That means giving people a reason to buy into you.

Your experience, your personality, your values and the way you work are all part of your personal brand. The stronger and more consistent that brand becomes, the easier it is for the right people to understand why they should choose you.

Your mindset shapes far more than you probably realise. It affects how you respond to challenges, the risks you are willing to take and the opportunities you allow yourself to go after.

Tell yourself you cannot do something often enough and, eventually, you will start acting like it. The opposite is true too. You have to back yourself. Don't be scared to give things a go.

They’re the people out there doing the job every day. So we sat some of our top performers down and asked them exactly that.

We don’t really believe in hierarchy for hierarchy’s sake. Good ideas can come from anywhere, and the people closest to the day-to-day work usually have some of the best ones.

The TRUTH is EVERYTHING. Especially when you’re valuing someone’s home 👀

It can be tempting to go in with the biggest number. You know the seller wants to hear their property is worth more than they expected.

But then it doesn’t sell.

And suddenly you’re having a very different conversation about reducing the price, which is frustrating for everyone involved.

Being a good estate agent isn’t about telling people what they want to hear. You might not always give the highest valuation in the room, but building trust with your clients will take you a lot further.
