The Estate is delighted to host and support a number of charitable events each year, and this morning we met at Coppet Hall Beach Centre to mark some recent events.

Our Leisure Division Manager Kim Denning, and Duty Manager Shaun Rees, met with Chris Williams of the Saundersfoot NYDS to hand over a cheque for £2154, being the takings from the Car Park on New Years day for the Swim Charities.

In May each year, we host the Lotus Drivers Club who generously hold a collection amongst their members for a charity of the Estate's choosing. This year we chose to nominate Saundersfoot Rotary, and Kim and Shaun were pleased to see David Boneham from Lotus Drivers Club West Wales meet up with Rotarian Ray Wise and fellow Rotarians to hand over the generous donation of £700.

1200 Redland Delta Roof Tiles with 45 matching ridges. These are the same as are on the roofs of Whitlow Estate in Saundersfoot.

9500 (approx) concrete paving blocks

Collection only from Saundersfoot area, the paving blocks are on pallets and loading can be arranged. The tiles will have to be hand loaded.

We are very pleased to be able to host both an adult and child sized Beach Wheelchair provided by Pembrokeshire Coast at Coppet Hall Beach Centre, which are the perfect compliment to our award winning Disabled Changing facilities for everything the less able family needs for a day at the beach. We are aware of the benefits these chairs bring to those who use them, so we were sorry to hear that the wheelchair in Saundersfoot has been vandalised.

It is great to hear about the strength of the response to the appeal from the Pembrokeshire Coast Charitable Trust both to repair the damaged wheelchair, and provide other facilities.

It has been a momentous week on the Estate as we finally broke ground on the Phase 1 reconstruction of Rowston Caravan Park after many years of design and planning.

This project involves the removal of all previous park infrastructure and replacement with 172 Holiday Home and 15 Seasonal Touring pitches with the latest state of the art facilities, including high speed Internet connectivity and the option of EV charging to every pitch.

We have launched a new website for the Park at www.rowstonholidaypark.wales which has everything you need to know, and these CGI images give a taste of what to expect.

We are looking forward to welcoming the Lotus Drivers Club • LDC to Coppet Hall Beach Centre this weekend. They will be assembled with their cars from 9 until 10am on Saturday and Sunday, prior to departing on their tour of the County. A timely reminder from Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority, that the footpath down to Monkstone Beach from the Coast Path remains closed, and there is currently no safe alternative.
Anyone thinking of walking these beaches at low tide should consider that the closest alternative exits from the beach to the Coast Path in this area are now from Swallowtree on the Saundersfoot side, and Lodge Valley on the Tenby side.

⚠️ Access to Monkstone Beach, near Saundersfoot, is currently closed.

The steps and public footpath to the beach remain closed due to instability on the slope above.

There is currently no safe way to exit the beach at Monkstone.

Anyone walking along the foreshore at low tide from Saundersfoot or Tenby should be aware there is a risk of being cut off by the tide.

Please stay safe and avoid attempting to access the beach.
