We may have three! Blackberrying then baking and eating crumble 😋.

We found some beauties whilst on a delightful walk in Ravenscar just up the coast and enjoyed some sea view baking and crumble sampling. Isn't that what the youngsters call a "wholesome" day? ☀️

We have lots of return guests this Autumn (thank you all 🙏🏼) but you can still grab an October week if you're quick!

How wonderful to celebrate 400 years of Britain's first resort at The Sunday Best Parade. Thank you Old Parcels Office Art Space for organising such a joyful event. How fitting to wind our way down towards the Italian gardens, that have been a peaceful, beautiful haven for ladies and gentlemen since 1912!

Summer Sundays in Scarborough...

While away the afternoon in the beautiful Peasholm Park enjoying the free band concert from 2.30. These run weekly up to and including 6 September. This afternoon the visiting band is the Coppull and Standish Concert Band.

Goathland, beautiful moorland village famous for being the setting for well loved TV series Heartbeat from 1992- 2010. Take the steam train, enjoy an afternoon tea or a circular walk to the stunning Mallyan Spout waterfall. Goathland is just 23 miles from Lilian's View.

Sunday mornings don't get much better than this...

A stroll to the South Bay and a couple of hours in a deckchair listening to the fabulous Scarborough Spa Orchestra is such a pleasant way to while away the hours. And blue skies with a beautiful sea breeze are the icing on the cake ☀️🌊
