The Sunday Best Parade is taking place on Sunday 6th September 2026 at 11am as part of the Scarborough 400 celebrations!

Organized by the Old Parcels Office, residents and visitors are invited to dress up in historic period costume—from Victorian and Edwardian attire to vintage seaside fashions—and take part in a traditional promenade from the Esplanade down through South Cliff Gardens to Scarborough Spa:

👒 Step back in Time: Don your finest retro or historic outfit and join a joyful, colourful stroll along Scarborough's famous South Cliff!

📸 Group Portrait: Gather for a commemorative group photograph in the stunning Italian Gardens.

🎟️ What's Included (£10 entry / Kids & Carers FREE): Registration includes a souvenir booklet, soft drink at Scarborough Spa, free travel on the Central Tramway, a copy of the group photo, plus discounted Afternoon Tea at The Royal Hotel!

🎷 Spa Orchestra Finale: The parade coincides with the final Sunday concert of the season from the Scarborough Spa Orchestra!

Whether you come in costume or just want to watch the spectacle, it’s a brilliant day out on the North Yorkshire coast! 🍦☀️
