We can confirm that they are absolutely delicious 😋 ...and we are gradually working our way through all of the different combo's, for quality control obviously!! 😂

The sun is out, the shorts are on, the Polypod has been rejuvenated and we've decided that we're ready to welcome guests back earlier than planned!!
Each morning we go into the polytunnel, with the sun streaming in, and think it's such a shame that no-one else is enjoying it ☀️🌱 (I hope I'm not speaking too soon as it is still March!) So, bookings are open!
We've had some busy winter months as we started to build our own house!! The foundations are complete, drainage done, and a huge timber delivery is arriving next week 🥳
Nick is going to be busy...that's why he's away in the Alps this week, enjoying a bit of skiing, before its head down to the build! 👷💪
We've had some amazing days out in the mountains, done lots of beach cleaning, brewed gallons of beer (using our homegrown hops), got the propagator heated up and seedlings growing and planted out garlic and new raspberry canes.
The latest addition is a new herb garden for guests to use, to give their dinner an extra touch of freshness 🌿💚

Wow, it's been a long time since our last update!!
We were lucky enough to have guests staying, towards the end of last season, but it was obviously a quiet winter.

So, we took the time to upgrade facilities starting with a brand new cover on the polytunnel...not a job for the fainthearted!!

We've now created a fully enclosed kitchen with a new gas hob and a combi microwave oven. The bathroom has been newly fitted out but we've kept the much loved pebble floored shower and, of course, there's still the compost toilet.

New outdoor seating areas have been created to, hopefully, enjoy lots of summer sunshine!

We're ready for the new season to begin and hope to see lots of you up here in the beautiful far north west Scottish Highlands 😊

Well, what a busy year we had in 2019! Thanks to all who came to stay.
Winter hibernation is almost over, with improvements, alterations and redecoration now complete and we're raring to go again! Bookings are flying in and we can't wait to meet lots of new guests and we've got return bookings too. Must be going something right!
The biggest change has been made by creating a new indoor bathroom. It's still a compost toilet, but indoors, along with the pebble floored shower.
We're looking forward to welcoming you all throughout the 2020 season...bring on the sunshine 😊☀️🙏
