Church Lane update...🏠

This renovation job is now virtually complete. All building works and decorating is finished, only the rear garden grass seeding is left to do.

The exterior of the Kitchen extension has been finished with modern, black, wooden panelling. Slender, vertical lighting fixtures have been fitted to further enhance the modern look - making for a sleek and polished appearance.

A new patio area has been created, plus the side walkway / entrance has been tidied up and now looks much more presentable.

Let's check-in on one of our current renovation projects...

We were given the keys to this semi-detached property on Plumtree Way a couple of weeks ago.

Works have now started, with a huge difference already made to the front garden space - you can actually see the grass now! All weeds and other mess has been fully cleared, and the space has been tidied-up to look more presentable. New guttering has also been installed around the exterior of the property.

Internally, new door frames are being built and fitted by the Kaila Developments team. Initial electrical works are also being carried out.

In preparation for the new and updated version of the Renters' Rights Act, we will be personally hand-delivering a copy of the new document to all of our tenants over the next couple of weeks. The new Renters' Rights Act will come into place on 1st May 2026.

There is nothing tenants need to do, however we will be asking tenants to sign a separate sheet for our office records for proof of receipt. It is a legal requirement that we provide all tenants with a copy of the new document.

Please be advised this document is NOT a contract or any other type of legally binding agreement. It is purely information to be kept by the tenant, but it is essential that all tenants receive a copy.

We have just been handed the keys to this property on Plum Tree Way in Scunthorpe. We have also been tasked with the renovation and decorating of this property by our client.

The previous owner did begin to update the interior, but eventually decided to sell the property instead. We now need to do our best at picking-up from where they left off and deliver the usual Kaila Properties treatment. Our most recent project on Lancaster Road in Scunthorpe is now finished.

We were given the keys shortly after our client acquired this property, so it was our job to fully renovate and modernise the place - ready for new tenants.

Work was done both internally and externally, mainly focusing on the interior with a brand new kitchen installed, new bathroom, new downstairs toilet, new flooring throughout, plus freshly decorated from top to bottom.
