These are long overdue I've had my worktop over a month now. It's a sore subject!!! 🙈 It's also a first world problem and I need to pull myself together!! I'm fully aware of how bratty I sound! 🙈
I searched for a worktop for months. Back and forth around the North East. I fell in love with a quartzite called taj mahal. Over those months I saw 4 huge slabs of it, tons of displays and small samples, plus hundreds of photos online whilst doing my research. I loved the wh**ey, creamy, browny shades and Ive never okce seen any orange in it. It is COVERED in these orange and dark veins. I HATE them. I was hoping they'd grow on me but I still hate them. I've cried tears over a bloody worktop!!! I'm absolutely devastated. Without the orange bits (which I had no idea could be a characteristic of this) I'd have loved it. I LOVE the piece in my cupboard as that's exactly what I was expecting, the photos don't show the detail. I'm not sure if you can tell from the long rant..... but I'm still angry, I still hate it, lots of people tell me they love it which is lovely to hear but they didn't pay for it and they're not living with something they don't like. I'm thankful it still matches my cupboards. I'm a bitter old lady over it though! 🙈🙈🙈
It actually looks good in these photos I really like it from afar, but it's different close up! 🤦🏼♀️
