A little carousel of the Equilux here in West Cornwall ✨

That moment in the year when day and night are almost perfectly balanced.

And what an Equilux it was.

Starting with steely greys and bright whites, the day moved through the colour spectrum.

The light is one of the things we - and our guests - love most about being here. From the softest start as morning breaks, through bright hours by the sea, to these incredible, long, glorious sunsets over the Atlantic.

A place just to sit for a while

Moving from silvers and blues……

Now we’re changing colours

And the whole house fills with a different glow

Upstairs and downstairs, bathed in warmth

And still it keeps giving

Saying goodnight and moving us into evening time

It seems to not want to let go 🥹

When we created Gwynver Beach House, we always had “luxury retreats with dogs” in mind.

We’re dog lovers ourselves, and we know just how hard it can be to find somewhere really special to stay that genuinely works when you want to bring your besties with you. 🩵

So we designed Gwynver to be a place where you don’t have to choose between beautiful, luxurious surroundings and a brilliant holiday with your dogs.

A secure garden to roam in, plenty of space to stretch out, an outside dog shower for those sandy paws — and, best of all, a path straight from the garden gate down to the beach. 🌊🐾

Because for us, the very best holidays are the ones where everyone gets to come along.

Happy International Dog Day to our own much-loved dogs, and to all the gorgeous four-legged guests who’ve made themselves at home at Gwynver. 🐕❤️

There really isn’t much in life that beats escaping to the coast, staying somewhere that feels special, and sharing it with your favourite people. That’s exactly what Gwynver has become for so many of our guests. 🩵🌊

Our guest book oozes with these vibes from those who have stopped to share these same thoughts.

It was our own pleasure last week…. And now we’re happy to hand it over to share it with our wonderful guests for the whole of the rest of the summer.

Sometimes the greatest luxury isn’t doing more. It’s leaving everyone happily chatting at the house, disappearing down the garden for a quiet swim in water this clear, and coming back to rejoin with ‘zing’ and a full heart 🩵
