Recent changes introduced in May mean there are now clearer rules around when you can increase the rent on a property.

➡️ Rent can only be increased once every 12 months
➡️ You cannot increase the rent during the first year of a tenancy
➡️ The correct notice must be given to the tenant before an increase takes effect
➡️ Rent increases must follow the new legal process
