The cold calling ironing board - this one brought back a few memories!
Here is a picture I took in my Grandmaās house, this space right here was my first āhome officeā, before I downsized my bed at home to fit a desk inš
This was at a time where she had just been put into care, and her cat Snoopy needed feeding.
So Iād nip round to feed him, Iād take my laptop & my portable Wi-Fi router, and lock in for hoursš»
This was also where cold calling was all I knew to get new landlords & agents interested, I spent hours at this ironing board facing rejection after rejectionā¦ until one hit.
It was the conversation that led to the first deal me & Fred took on together, but rest assured the landlady didnāt come without her objectionsš
It was a battle, but I got it over the line, and we still have the property now! It performs incredibly for us, Iāll attach a screenshot of some performance figures.
This photo just reminded me that, although your work environment can help with productivity, nothing will get you further than simply getting down to the tasks that move the needle.
You donāt need to have the perfect environment, you donāt need the perfect business plan, you just need to start.
