Another busy week at LR Podiatry! 🙌

This week we’ve treated everything from verrucas and ingrowing toenails to sports injuries, routine foot care and everything in between. No two days are ever the same, and that’s exactly why we love what we do.

The teamwork this week has been brilliant. Everyone has pulled together to make sure our patients receive the best possible care, and we’re so proud of this amazing team.

Here’s to another week of helping people stride with confidence. 👣

It’s been an incredibly busy few months here at LR Podiatry… and we wouldn’t have it any other way. 💙

These custom insoles are all heading out to patients over the next week, each one individually designed using Gait and Motion Technology technology to match the way they move.

A huge thank you to everyone who continues to put their trust in us. We really do appreciate it.

For the last two weeks, we’ve had the pleasure of welcoming Kaitlin to LR Podiatry for her Year 10 work experience and what a fantastic two weeks it’s been! 👣

Kaitlin has fitted into the team brilliantly from day one, getting involved in all aspects of life in the clinic. From helping at reception and keeping our instruments sterilised, to assisting during nail surgery procedures (and keeping us fuelled with plenty of cups of tea and coffee! ☕), she’s thrown herself into every opportunity with enthusiasm and professionalism.

One moment that made us especially proud was hearing that one of our lovely patients contacted Kaitlin’s school to praise her for the kindness and support she showed during what was a particularly stressful procedure. That speaks volumes about the compassion and maturity she’s shown throughout her time with us.

We hope she has learned lots, gained some valuable experience, and enjoyed seeing what life in a busy podiatry clinic is really like.

It’s been an absolute pleasure having you as part of the team, Kaitlin. Thank you for all your hard work, we’ll definitely miss you next week! 💙👏

On Thursday we had the absolute pleasure of attending a Local Anaesthetic & Nail Surgery Update with the one and only Ian Reilly 💉

It was such a brilliant day with loads of top tips, takeaways and plenty of learning that we can bring straight back into clinic for our patients.

A huge thank you to the North East Branch of the Royal College of Podiatry for hosting such a fantastic event, and to our dear friend Rebecca from who helped organise it all. Great venue, great company and a room full of lovely podiatry colleagues.

And remember everyone… everybody stops bleeding eventually. 😅 🩸

A lot of people feel quite self-conscious about nails like this…
they’ll hide them, avoid sandals, even keep socks on longer than they need to.

This doesn’t fix the nail underneath but it does give you a normal-looking nail straight away while we treat the cause properly.

Same appointment. Big difference.

And for most people, it’s just a bit of relief… especially this time of year ☀️
