This will be a varied and rewarding role to support the Senior Production Manager in the delivery of commercial landscapes’ horticultural products for both The Green Estate and Pictorial Meadows at UK sites and abroad.

We're hiring! Fleet and Facilities Manager wanted.

This role will be responsible for the management of The Green Estate buildings which include a diverse mix of offices, workshops, barns, visitor facilities and the Sheffield Manor Lodge S.A.M. as well as our vehicle fleet that currently consists of 12 light vans and crew cab flatbed tow trucks used in the delivery of landscape services.

Sláinte Mhath! Happy Burns Night!

It’s that time of year for warm blankets, gorgeous food, and giving your best renditions of Auld Lang Syne around the fire.

First held in 1801, Burns night or Burns Supper celebrates the life and works of Scottish poet Robert Burns. Traditionally, this involves an evening of Scottish delicacies, fine whisky and retellings of Burn’s iconic poems (with Auld Lang Syne as the showstopper!)

At The Green Estate, we’ll have our former resident in mind, Mary Queen of Scots, on a night to celebrate the fascinating heritage of our neighbours to the north.

For a chance to see this beautiful bird and the many others that enjoy our park, why not join us at our upcoming bird walk on Sunday 29 January.

Taking place on the weekend of the RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch, this walk will contribute towards the world’s largest wildlife survey!

10 am - 11:30 am (Meet at City Road Car Park)

This is a free event for the local community, organised by The Green Estate, Friends of Manor Fields Park, and the local RSPB group. Donations welcome.

Children’s School Holiday Crafts – Halloween Week

October 28 @ 11:00 am - 3:00 pm

Every Monday to Thursday during Sheffield School Holidays (please note new days)

We’ll be making a Halloween wreath, pumpkin witch treat box and a monster bookmark.

You can play in the sandpit, lavender labyrinth and with our outside games too.

Crafts will run 11am – 3pm and the Discovery Centre will stay open for play until 4pm.

£4 per crafter

Season pass holders: two children for £3 each
