MULTI-SKILLED BUILDERS WANTED
Yeovil / Sherborne Area
Oakleaf of Sherborne Building Services is looking for two reliable, multi-skilled people to join the business.
These positions would particularly suit newly qualified tradespeople, improvers or those starting out in business who have a good practical foundation and genuinely want to develop their skills.
You’ll work alongside an established, time-served builder with more than 20 years’ experience, gaining hands-on experience across a wide range of building and property-improvement work.
Duties will include:
* Carpentry and joinery
* Painting, decorating and all preparation
* Basic plumbing
* Plastering and rendering
* Kitchen and bathroom installation
* General building and property maintenance
* Groundworks and labouring
* Repairs and refurbishment work
* Handling materials and keeping sites clean and organised
Applicants must:
* Hold a full UK driving licence
* Have some practical building or trade experience
* Be reliable, hardworking and punctual
* Be willing to undertake every aspect of the job
* Take pride in producing a professional finish
* Be able to work independently when required
* Be keen to learn and develop
* Have basic tools where possible
A trade qualification or completed apprenticeship would be preferred, although the right attitude, ability and willingness to learn are equally important.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm
Start date: Within the next month
Area: Sherborne, Yeovil and surrounding areas
