Flat-Roofing and Roofing Operatives
Salopian Maintenance Ltd is expanding its roofing and flat-roofing department and is looking for experienced, reliable operatives to join our team.

We are particularly interested in operatives with experience in:
• GRP flat-roofing systems, including Polyroof or similar systems
• Rubberbond and Resitrix systems
• Pitched-roof repairs and maintenance
• Chimney repairs and associated roofing works
• Guttering and roofline plastics
• General roofing maintenance and remedial works

Please apply if you meet the requirements:
• Valid UK driving licences
• Relevant knowledge of roofing or Flat roofing systems
• Good communication (Utilizing field service application)
• Strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and take ownership for delivering high-quality work consistently.
• Ability to maintain a safe, clean working environment.
• Self-employed status with valid UTR Number

Salopian Maintenance Ltd would like to thank Cockshutt C of E Primary School and the PTA for giving us the opportunity to support this fantastic community project.

It has been a pleasure to help create a new wildlife pond and natural habitat that will provide an outdoor learning environment for pupils while encouraging local biodiversity.

We hope the children enjoy exploring the area for many years to come and that it inspires a lifelong appreciation of nature and wildlife.

A special thank you to Boys & Boden, Shrewsbury for their generous donation of materials, and to everyone who contributed their time, effort and support to make this project possible.

Salopian Maintenance Limited is a successful and rapidly growing construction and maintenance company delivering contracts across the private and social housing sectors throughout Shropshire. We specialise in high-quality property repairs and maintenance.
We are looking for experienced and reliable Tradespeople to join our growing team and support the delivery of essential repairs and maintenance work to a high standard.
Available Roles:

Tradesperson
Work may include, but is not limited to:
• Basic plumbing
• Wall tiling & Aqua panel Boarding
• Flooring installation and self-levelling
• Patching and painting
• Basic carpentry
• Masonry and repointing

Roofing Tradesperson
Work may include:
• Pitched roof repairs
• Flat roof installations (Resitrix EPDM – GRP – Rubber)
• Rainwater goods
• Fascia and soffit installation and repairs
• Associated roofline works

About the Role
The successful candidate will have proven experience within roofing or general construction, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
We are seeking individuals who take pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and maintaining excellent standards on every job.

Hours: Monday – Friday; 40 Hours per a week
Employment options:

Roofing Tradesperson wanted:

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Roofing Tradesperson to join our team. The successful candidate will be competent in pitched roof repairs or flat roof installations, and associated roofline works. This role requires a strong understanding of roofing systems, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
• Carry out repairs to pitched roofs, including tiled and slate systems
• Install flat roofing systems, including: Fibreglass (GRP), EPDM rubber and Bitumen membrane systems
• Install and repair rainwater goods (gutters and downpipes)
• Install fascia and soffit systems
• Diagnose roofing faults and recommend appropriate solutions

Requirements:
• Valid UK driving licences
• 5 Years relevant knowledge of trade
• Good communication (Utilizing field service application)
• Strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and take ownership for delivering high quality work consistently.
• Ability to maintain a safe, clean working environment.
