One year ago, we opened the doors of Caffè Oro with one simple dream: to bring a little piece of Italy to the heart of Shrewsbury.

Over the past 12 months, you’ve shared breakfasts, coffees, lunches, conversations, laughter and so many special moments with us. Your support has meant the world, and we couldn’t have reached this milestone without you.

As a small thank you, we’d love to celebrate with you!

Our fresh Italian Black Summer Truffles (Tuber aestivum) have just arrived by express delivery direct from L’Aquila, Abruzzo, Italy.

Harvested only days ago, they’re full of incredible aroma and flavour – perfect for pasta, risotto, eggs, steaks and so much more.

✨ Available in 100g portions only – £24 per 100g.

Stock is very limited due to their freshness, so once they’re gone, they’re gone!

We’d love to welcome you over the Easter weekend, so here’s when we’re open:

Good Friday (3rd April): Open until 4pm
Easter Saturday (4th April): Open as usual
Bank Holiday Monday (6th April): Closed

Dear friends,

Caffè Oro will be closed from Monday 22nd December so our team can enjoy a little rest and time with loved ones over the festive season.

We will be open as normal again from Friday 2nd January, ready to welcome you back with your favourite coffee, food and warm smiles.

🎄✨ Christmas in Puglia: A One-of-a-Kind Italian Christmas Experience ✨🎄

This December, we’re bringing the warmth, flavour and festive magic of southern Italy to Caffè Oro, Shrewsbury.

Join us on Friday 19th December or Saturday 20th December for an intimate Christmas in Puglia dining experience, a seven-course celebration inspired by authentic Puglian traditions.
These are the only two evenings of the year when Caffè Oro will open late (we usually close at 4pm on Fridays and 3:30pm on Saturdays), making this a truly special event.

Expect rustic charm, candlelit atmosphere, slow-cooked flavours, and the kind of Italian hospitality that makes you feel like family.
From the first sip of Prosecco to the final chilled Limoncello… every course has been crafted to transport you straight to the heel of Italy.

🌟 Perfect for friends, family, couples, foodies, or anyone wanting something a little different this Christmas.

These two nights are the only dates available, once the tables are gone, they’re gone.
