You book a valuation, and a girl turns up- covered in tattoos, dressed for comfort, not sales and you think who is this?! 😂

Well she is the one who brings homes on the market back to life.

She is the one who won’t give you the bu****it, telling you want you want to hear, rather than what you need to hear.

She is the one that this week, has spent hours talking to 3 sellers already on the market who are continually being told “the market is dead”.

The market is not dead. The market is moving.

What the market is highlighting though, are bad agents.

🫣 Those that list and wait
🫣Those who don’t think outside the box
🫣Those that don’t work with strategy
🫣Those who see the year on year trend
🫣Those not understanding the comedown after a high

We are not in a slum, so let’s stop running that narrative.

We are in a market that Personal Agents are thriving in - because we know how to utilise, create demand, competition & sales.

(This only applies to motivated sellers. Those that are willing to wait and see, unfortunately I won’t be for you)

If your child is genuinely in hospital, that’s absolutely fine (well it’s not fine, but it’s a good reason to not attend)

If you’ve had a family emergency, that’s absolutely fine (again… not fine but you get it)

If you’re stuck at work, that’s absolutely fine.

But if your child is supposedly in A&E and then I see you viewing the house next door 30 minutes later…

That’s where we have a problem. 😂

Estate agents don’t expect life to stop for a viewing.

We just appreciate a quick message so we’re not standing outside a property, when the seller has taken time out to clean up, throw the family out & us wondering whether you’ve fallen down a well with Nanny Doris.

My all-time favourite? 😵‍💫

A buyer cancelled because their nan had died.

A couple of days later they called to reschedule.

“When’s good? Nan’s out of hospital now.”

Out of hospital?

I thought she’d died.

2 years on the market previously, with a few other agents with no luck.

The seller called me - I was the last hope to get this home sold (no pressure obviously 🤷🏻‍♀️)

And now?

Hearts Delight has now had the keys handed to the new owners, ready to start their new chapter as homeowners.

📸 Repositioned the marketing with professional photography

🎥 Some amazing videography including the beautiful fields surrounding

💷 Adjusted the pricing accordingly to how the market perceived the property- not just waiting to see

📱Consistent communication from the start

📆 Accessibility for viewings - evenings weekends, we made sure it worked.

This was most definitely not a “wait and see” job after putting it on the portals.

This home deserved to be showcased in all its glory, the village it sits in & to show a buyer how lucky they’d be to live here.

The seller knows I had a big soft spot for this home, and then, unbeknown to us, one of my family members was involved in the extension & ownership of this home, many moons ago!

Fate? I reckon so 😉

Reviews make a huge difference to small businesses like mine. They help future clients decide whether I’m the right person to trust with one of the biggest transactions they’ll ever make.

I’ve been a quiet this week because I’ve been prepping for our TAUK Summer Festival 2026.

What a bloody incredible day and night- the amount of talent in 1 room 🤯

Looking at all the backstage things we have coming in motion for our agents, clients & Personal Agency space. Honestly- incredible.

Last year I walked away with Most Memorable Marketer & this year it’s Agents Agent Award 2026 & a trip to Marbella ✈️
