Property Damage Repair – Kirkby
Unfortunately, our customer in Kirkby accidentally drove into their property, causing damage to the garage, brickwork and internal areas of the home.
We were called in to make the property safe, secure and restore the damage
Garage & External Works
• New stud wall constructed approximately 1m into the garage to improve security
• Existing garage door and frame carefully removed and disposed of
• Damaged single-brick party wall raked out and stitch repaired with 2 bars
• Damaged 9-inch brick pillar carefully removed, taking extra care around the existing armoured cable supplying the car charger
• Channelled out around the existing cable where required
• 9-inch wall rebuilt as a double-skin wall up to lintel level
• Damaged blocks to the party wall removed and replaced
Internal Works
• Hardwood hallway flooring fully protected
• Stairs, landing and bedroom carpets protected throughout the works
Bedroom Repairs
• Damaged plasterboard removed from floor to ceiling
• Cracked areas around the window wall broken out
• Affected areas re-boarded with plasterboard
• Areas skimmed and made good
• Cracks to the window wall repaired
Another property brought back to a safe, secure and presentable condition after accidental damage.
