We’re thrilled to share that Berkeley Oxford & Chiltern is proudly sponsoring Thames Valley Hospice’s art trail this summer.

The trail will bring 30 colourful, artist‑designed elephants to Slough and Windsor in Summer 2026. A free, family‑friendly way to explore the area while supporting the amazing work of .

Our elephant, Hope, leads the herd. Designed by local artist Jessica Garrett. Her design celebrates much‑loved landmarks across Slough & Windsor, including the Horlicks Factory Chimney.

Before taking her spot on Slough High Street, Hope stopped by Horlicks Quarter for a special visit… and of course we had to capture the moment. 🐘✨

Marking Remembrance Day at Horlicks Quarter.

During wartime, Horlicks Malted Milk—made right here in Slough—was sent to soldiers as a source of comfort and nourishment.

Within Horlicks Quarter stands a memorial statue, commissioned to honour the 23 Horlicks employees who served and lost their lives during the First and Second World Wars.

Today, we pause to reflect and remember.

Exciting times ahead for Slough!

🤩 Last week we welcomed local businesses and key partners to Horlicks Quarter for a first look at our plans to reimagine the Queensmere redevelopment — a landmark project set to transform the heart of Slough town centre.

🛍️ With work aiming to start next year and first residents arriving in 2030, the high street and Observatory Shopping Centre will stay active and open. Expect pop-up food, arts, and cultural hubs celebrating local creativity and community spirit.
