Snettisham Watermill

As many of you know, I had hoped to make the Watermill my permanent home, but, sadly, the change of use planning permission has been refused.

I would like to say a huge THANK YOU to all the neighbours, local residents and Parish Council who were so supportive of my application, especially the Mill Gardens neighbours who are amazing in helping manage the water flow when I am not there.

The mill therefore remains available for holiday lets and bookings are now open until June 2027 at www.snettishamwatermill.com.

I am of course disappointed that I can't live at the lovely Watermill but look forward to spending time there between guests.

Big waterfall this morning, it's time for the monthly clean-up, emptying the mill pond and clearing the sluice gates of silt and debris. The ducks will be pleased when their water returns!

The refurbishment has gone better than I had dared to hope, and we will be ready to welcome guests from next weekend !
