Work comprised of valuations, viewings, completions, contract chasing & three offers still being negotiated as we head in to next week 😳

I’m dreadful at switching off, keeping myself busy ‘outside’ of work has certainly helped lately 🚀

Longest sale of my life… complete 😰

What a journey we’ve been on with the vendors of Kintali, having originally met them nearly two years ago to give them a valuation 😳

Since then we’ve had to wait for vacating tenants, refurbishments, multiple marketing shoots and two sales falling by the wayside. We even sold their Mom’s house in between it all and had a painless transaction!

A chain of six was incredibly difficult to progress due to a particularly shocking solicitor at the bottom (the less said about them the better 😥)

So grateful to have been stuck-by throughout… I know the feeling is mutual with our vendors after having a celebratory pint after everything was handed over ✅

Congratulations to Tom & Jess who will no doubt enjoy this stunning family home for years to come 🥳

I always thought people who said they ‘needed a holiday’ were a bit annoying to be honest, but I’m absolutely guilty of falling in to that category this week 😅

I’m currently flying back from Dubrovnik after a 4 day trip to see my childhood best mate Vaz who lives in Melbourne, to say I feel recharged would be an understatement 🔌

The truth is, the last few weeks have been pretty brutal. Multiple fall throughs, renegotiations, new instructions changing their minds, it’s been a low on what is always a rollercoaster of a way to make a living 🥲

Vaz reminded me of how far I’ve come since I last saw him 3 years ago and I didn’t quite realise how much I needed to hear it 😅

I can’t change any of the nonsense that’s happened to the business the last few weeks, but I am absolutely flying home with an improved mindset and ready to give 110% 💪
