On Saturday evening, we had the pleasure of attending The One Love Project Charity Gala — and what a night it was. A huge thank you to the wonderful hosts and organisers for putting together such a fun-filled, uplifting evening in support of an incredible cause.
There was great food, great company… and very enthusiastic bidding from Nick during the auction — all in the spirit of supporting the amazing work One Love does for the local community!

For anyone who isn’t familiar, The One Love Project provides vital support to those facing homelessness or hardship — offering food, warmth, clothing, and a safe, welcoming space for vulnerable people across Southend. Their work genuinely changes lives.

Today marks the International Day of Persons with Disabilities — a reminder of why accessibility and inclusive design matter in every part of the built environment.

For us in surveying and project management, accessibility isn’t just a compliance box to tick. It’s about ensuring that buildings, spaces, and facilities are genuinely usable, comfortable, and safe for everyone.

Supporting the next generation 🧠👷‍♀️👷‍♂️

Craig took time this week to support our work experience, walking them through a dampness and timber survey and showing them what life on site really looks like. On this case, it was out in Frinton on sea.

It’s not just about the technical side, it’s about inspiring confidence, curiosity and problem-solving skills. These experiences are what spark passion for the industry, and it’s great to see them asking questions and getting involved.

Big thanks to Craig for leading with encouragement and to our work experience colleague for rolling up their sleeves and giving it their all. 👏

The wait is over, Craig is back and Hannah Leek was in, and it's officially celebration time! 🥂🎉

After achieving our ISO 9001 (Quality Management) and ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) accreditations, it was only right to celebrate as a complete team. Craig’s return meant it was time to pop the champagne, reflect on this significant milestone, and toast to our continued success and commitment to excellence.

We're incredibly proud of the teamwork and dedication it took to get this over the line.
