If you’re organised, confident at communicating, and enjoy working in a fast paced environment, this opportunity could be for you...

We’re looking for an Auctions Administrator to join our growing Auctions department in South Molton. You’ll support the smooth running of a wide range of auctions, from agricultural machinery and workshop equipment to vintage items, garden stock, and builders equipment.

In this varied role, you’ll be responsible for a variety of areas, and work closely with vendors, purchasers, and the wider Auctions team to ensure efficient sales and a high level of service.

We’re seeking someone with strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail and confidence working in a reactive, fast moving environment. An agricultural background and an understanding of auctions is preferred.

To apply, please send your CV and covering letter to Becky Peat: [email protected].

📊 𝗔𝗨𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗥𝗘𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗧 📊

🚜 The South West October Online Timed Auction 🚜

𝗔𝗨𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗘𝗘𝗥𝗦 𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧

An exceptional entry of over 2,400 lots was received for our South West October Online Timed Auction. The entry included a huge variety of items, ranging from a 2021 Massey Ferguson 4709M 4WD with just 600 hours on the clock that sold for £40,250, to a well-ridden 1920s Walls Ice Cream bicycle, which achieved £1,100!

A very pleasing result on the night saw competitive bidding from across the UK, together with heightened interest from Ireland, resulting in some strong prices amongst the tractor and machinery lots.

The key to success remains good presentation, sensible reserves and detailed descriptions, enabling buyers from anywhere in the country to make informed purchasing decisions.

An exceptional entry of livestock trailers and equipment saw some outstanding results. A Bailey 27' Twin Deck Trailer sold for £26,750, whilst a Hudson 20' Trailer achieved £15,750, almost double its reserve price.

The success of Stags South West Sales shows no sign of slowing down, with auction statistics continuing to demonstrate the growing popularity of the auction. Sale after sale, participation levels, bidding activity and prices achieved continue to increase, underlining the confidence both buyers and vendors place in us.

Our continued thanks go to all vendors for their overwhelming support sale after sale and, of course, to the thousands of bidders who enquire, bid and buy the vast array of items we receive. We look forward to updating you as the entries start coming forward for our last sale of the year, going live in November. Entries are now invited!
