Something most people don’t think to ask when choosing an estate agent.. ‘How long is the contract?’

And to be fair, why would you? You’re busy thinking about moving, not reading the small print.

It’s usually only when the service isn’t quite what you hoped for that contract length suddenly becomes important.

That’s why I offer a 0-week contract.

If you’re happy with the service, you’ll stay. If you’re not, you’re free to go.

Thought it was time for an appreciation post for the real brains behind the business… Nando 🐾

He’s the one who gets me up at 5am every morning to get ahead of the competition, networks relentlessly because he insists on making friends with every single person we pass, and has stopped me quitting during many a meltdown because how the hell would I pay for his expensive hypoallergenic food if I quit?

When a deal falls through, he doesn’t care. When I get a difficult email, he doesn’t care. When the market does something weird, he definitely doesn’t care - he’s far more concerned with eating feathers, slugs, or anything else he shouldn’t.

Selling houses is stressful. Running a business is stressful. But having this little sidekick along for the ride makes it a lot easier.

So here’s to the unofficial mascot of the business, who contributes absolutely nothing and somehow keeps the whole thing going. ❤️
