We are delighted to welcome trainee psychotherapeutic counsellor Debs to Southam Speaking Space. Debs says:

I believe therapy should be a non judgemental, welcoming space where you can explore any challenges you may be facing at your own pace. My approach is one of honesty and kindness, creating a space where you feel truly listened to. Through our therapeutic relationship, we can face and repair old wounds and help you to develop the self compassion needed to make profound changes in your life. Therapy can help you understand how your experiences have shaped you, your responses and how you approach key relationships in your life. Through the growing understanding, you will develop more self awareness, resilience and crucially, self compassion.
I work with people who have experienced trauma, anxiety, grief, stress, family and relationship issues. If there is anything currently affecting your mental health and wellbeing, therapy can help you address and overcome it. Please get in touch for a free 15 minute telephone consultation to see if I am a good fit to support you.
I currently offer sessions at a reduced rate of £30 whilst I am working towards accreditation with UKCP of which I am a member. I attend regular supervision and am fully insured. [email protected]

We are delighted to welcome Charlotte Perry who is now offering counselling at Southam Speaking Space

Charlotte says:
If you feel like you're wanting to make changes in your life but aren't sure where to start - or you're trying, but it isn't working out the way you thought it would - I can help. Have you been through something that's still sitting with you, even though you want to move past it? Counselling may be the answer to getting you to where you want to be.

My training and experience lies primarily in supporting clients who are, or who are wondering if they might be neurodivergent (self-diagnosis and formal diagnosis equally valid). I am also keen to support clients and their struggles with anxiety, depression, trauma, and interpersonal relationships.

Whatever you're struggling with, you deserve support! I can help you make sense of your experiences and teach you strategies for managing in a more healthy way in the future. Sometimes all we need is a quiet and supportive space to process without judgement or expectation. Please get in touch to see how I can help you make that positive change.

We are delighted to welcome Elinor Wilde to our therapy rooms at Southam Speaking Space! Elinor is a Chartered Psychologist, Psychotherapist and Coach who specialises in working with women in midlife. Elinor says:
"As a woman in your midlife, you may be feeling overwhelmed by physical, psychological and emotional challenges. Dealing with this complex stage in life, involving children leaving, ageing parents, work-related stress and menopause symptoms, can feel relentless and deeply unsettling.

On the outside you might seem like you’ve got it all under control but inside you could be feeling lost and uncertain about the future. If you’ve gone from feeling capable, confident, and sociable to struggling with the chaos of midlife, feeling anxious, overwhelmed, and unsure how to cope, it’s a difficult and lonely place to be.

I have 30 years’ experience in supporting individuals to develop the psychological skills to achieve emotional wellbeing and resilience. Together we’ll tackle the messiness of midlife head-on, wrapped in compassion and warmth. We’ll work through the tough stuff together, so you develop healthy coping strategies, gain confidence and feel positive about the future."

You can contact Elinor for a free 20-minute introductory call via her website: https://www.elinorwildepsychotherapy.com

We are delighted to welcome experienced counsellor Anissa Allen to our rooms at Southam Speaking Space. Anissa works with children and adults who are looking for counselling support. She says:
"I offer person-centred counselling within a warm, empathic environment where clients can freely and safely explore their emotions and experiences. In my practice, I’m committed to delivering a compassionate, down to earth approach, where ensuring my clients feel comfortable and building up a trusting therapeutic relationship is paramount. My work with children and young people often involves the use of arts, crafts, games and toys to allow the client to express themselves both verbally and creatively. This experience can enrich therapy for younger clients, especially for those who can’t always find the words to express their emotions. If you are struggling or have a child you are seeking help for, then please reach out. I offer a free initial phone call to discuss any queries and to determine whether I am the right counsellor for you or your child."
