A productive day on the ground in South Wales… 🏡🔨
Yesterday we headed back to Wales to check in on one of our live refurbishment projects — and while we were there, we made the most of the trip by viewing three more potential acquisitions.
For us, property investing is very much about being on the ground.
Walking through a property tells you things that no Rightmove listing, spreadsheet or deal pack ever can.
We’re looking at:
🔹 What work is actually required
🔹 Where value can be added
🔹 Whether the numbers still stack once we’ve seen the property
🔹 The local area and demand
🔹 The best exit strategy — refurbish & refinance, flip, or hold
🔹 Whether it’s a property we’d be comfortable putting our own or an investor’s money into
Not every property we view will become a deal — and that’s exactly the point. Sometimes the best investment decision is the one you don’t make.
We did encounter one unexpected obstacle between viewings though… a sheep casually standing in the middle of the road. 🐑😂
Clearly it wanted first refusal on the next property.

Alongside sourcing our next projects, we’re continuing to build relationships with agents, contractors and investors across South Wales as we grow our refurbishment and investment side of the business.
There’s something particularly satisfying about viewing the next potential project while watching one of your current ones being transformed.
