DON'T FORGET - PARK GATE CAROL SERVICE - MONDAY 2nd DECEMBER

Don't forget Monday is the Park Gate Carol Service in Middle Road. We have been out positioning banners to publicise the event. Good to be joined by Councillor Frair Burgess and Alderman Sean Woodward

The road will be closed from 6pm (free parking available in Middle Road Car Park accessed off Botley Road or in lay-bys on Bridge Road.) Walking is also a good option. The event starts at 6.30pm and runs until about 8pm when there will be a very special visitor arriving assisted by Swanwick Lions Club.

Park Gate Traders will have their shops open giving food and drink to everyone and the Second Chance Children's Charity band will be playing your favourite carols. The collection will be in aid of this wonderful charity. I am pleased that we also have Park Gate Primary School choir in attendance performing their own favourites. Thank you to all who have made this event possible.

Looks like good weather so hoping we get a good crowd to start the Christmas season in traditional Park Gate style. 🎄🎄🎄

LANDLORDS:

Propertymark are leading a response to the UK Government as the Renters (Reform) Bill passes through Parliament.

To paint a picture of what the Bill means to the whole sector they need to hear from Landlords.

They have created a short survey to investigate how Landlord costs are rising and what risks the Bill poses to private rented sector housing stock.

If you have time please complete their survey via the link below so that they can collect the most comprehensive data possible.
