🧱🔧 Masonry piers in, new staircase in, steel beams on with snazzy Z frame to transfer the top floor weight down to ground level. Swiftly followed by new timber floors and lower metal frame ceilings for acoustic separation between units & studwork.

The 1st pic is of 3 floors, lowest will become unit 5's second bedroom & corridor, next floor up will be unit 7 kitchen/lounge, the one above that just visable through the joists is unit 8 bedroom. ⛩🪜

⛏🧱💣 Secret room has gone!!! Unusable space for the client so now the walls are being removed ready for some hefty steels, the wall is three leaves of masonry thick! 🧨⛓✴️

😯This will be my 22nd year doing this work and I've never seen one of these before.... York Stone floor in the corner of a timber floor with a secret room below.. It's got this little york stone hatch that used to have an iron ring pull on the top. Anyone know what this was for!!?? (The room below is a full height room and is 5 foot wide by 10 feet long 🤔🧛‍♂️

🛕🪜🔨 Framing going up! Always nice to get the boxes built so the rooms start coming together, this is all ready for the plumbing and electrical 1st fix. Loads of insulation going in here.

....Technical spec.... To all boundary frames will be dense RWA 100mm slabs, neoprene at the abutments, acoustic hangars to all fixing points (the 400 we had don't seem to have lasted very long so waiting for more), double 15mm blue plasterboards going up and on (8x4' because the lads need a workout), 5mm acoustic mastic beads in the plasterboard internal corners📦⬆️
