£300,000 of landscaping work secured in just 1 month

3 years ago I asked Thomas Davenport to join me for breakfast while he was on my 3 day Property Developers Blueprint.

At that time he was in the police force on £24k a year and doing a bit of landscaping the odd weekend. I said to Tom, you should be able to make more money in landscaping than the police, so 2 weeks later he quit his job and went for it

With a completely different mindset and a rebrand from my retreat in January, he’s just done £300k of revenue in a month, a huge leap from jobs maxing out at £5k just a couple of years ago

And not forgetting he’s got £14m of developments secured, and he’s only put £500 into them.

Meeting up with everyone on my mastermind day is always a great day, seeing the growth and hearing about the wins whilst still looking at the challenges ahead.

Tom is joining me on my retreat in Croatia in September where he’ll be offering advice and support for the delegates who embark on a life changing journey ahead. He’s learnt a huge amount that he can pass on to others to help them achieve things faster and avoid the mistakes people make doing things on their own.

Flying back from Spain today for my mastermind group tomorrow and my Property Developers Academy on Saturday

Can’t wait to catch up with everyone and hear about the wins these people are making.

One thing that many can forget is just how much progress they are making as it’s very easy to get too fixated on the goals and challenges ahead, but every step forward is a step in the right direction, and these steps compound into big results

Even I forget sometimes the impact I have on people’s lives as I just do what I do. Many people have launched new businesses, made hundreds of thousands of pounds, quit their jobs, got off the tools, freed up their time and for some, just enjoying life for the first time in a long time

Too many people focus on the shortcuts, shiney penny syndrome or FOMO whereas that time, effort and money could be spent far better building a work/ life balance you never want to end.

This mornings office, but it never used to be like this

Being a tradesman can be great (weather depending), but, and there is a big but, I was trading my time for money, which meant when I stopped working, so did the income

I was also working with my hands and body, meaning I could only be in one place at one time, and doing physical work daily, which gradually wears everyone’s bodies out.

Getting my first mentor was a huge wake up call. He made me understand that the strategy I was doing wasn’t going to get me where I wanted to be, no matter how hard I worked.

I learnt about leverage, systems, processes, strategy, goals, business etc and to align all of these with your vision (which was floating around in my head like most people’s)

Fast forward to now and the majority of what I do is run by my laptop and phone, these 2 devices have earned me millions and freed up my time, a very different picture to laying blocks in foundations in the rain and cold.

Looking back it was obvious I was doing things wrong, but I needed someone to explain things differently and for me to take the action. Has it been hard? Not really, because I knew what to expect because I had a plan that just took time

One of my businesses “Accelerate Your Growth” helps many people create businesses that work for them rather than they work for the business. This is done through retreats or monthly masterminds which we have coming up on Friday.

I always ask people this question “Is what you are doing, going to get you where you want to be?”, because if it isn’t, then maybe you need a complete change and a new plan just like I do

Met up with today, discussing all things about moving to Spain 🇪🇸 Reaching out to people that have been and done what you want to do is the quickest way to get there whilst avoiding the mistakes others make

What a great 3 days spent with a room full of amazing people

I love seeing everyone come into the events on a Friday morning and then seeing the difference when they leave after consuming all the information and getting to know everyone

A couple of great evenings networking with them also, this is a great opportunity for everyone to get to know each other more personally and see if there’s some synergy to work together on developments

The final Property Developers Blueprint event on May 30th will be an emotional one for sure, but I’m already looking forward to running it and making it an amazing weekend

You are exactly where you are because of what you say “Yes” or “No” too

17 years ago I went to a seminar, then walked away saying to myself “No, I can do this on my own”, and to some degree I did okay.

I soon realised that I hit a ceiling point in life and in business, one I couldn’t break through on my own and I became a very busy fool, doing everything myself resulting in 80-100 hour work weeks with a limited income

9 years ago I went back to the very same seminar and said “Yes”, fully acknowledging that you can only get so far on the knowledge you know, and the only thing that’s stopping you from becoming a millionaire is that very lack of knowledge. I needed someone who had been and done what I wanted to do to show me the way, and I’ve never stopped having mentors since.

What was the difference? What I said YES or NO too, because those 2 words lead to very different outcomes ones. You can have a completely different life so use these words wisely.

In the past 9 years I’ve been very aware of what I say yes and no too, and ever since then I’ve had very different outcomes. So the next time you’re feeling at a ceiling point or stuck in life, ask yourself is the right answer “Yes” or “No”

Life changes only when YOU do

The SpaceX motor has dramatically changed over time making the old one redundant and no longer required

This wil be the same for you if you don’t learn new skills and move along with a rapidly evolving world of consumption

If you’re doing the same thing in 20 years time then you’ll most likely get the same salary/ day rate or probably less because of automation and AI

The UK is rapidly becoming very demotivated to work because it’s hard to be average now with high (and getting higher) taxation and cost of living. This creates huge opportunities for those that put in the effort to provide convenience, an easier way or done for you service

Those that evolve, learn and pivot will thrive a lot sooner than they think because it’s far easier for people to remain the same. Give yourself 5 years with a vision and a plan and you’ll keep up with the spaceX engine and dominate your space

Went to visit one of my mentees on their site today

Great to catch up with Kurt Woods who’s just renovated the house at the front and is about to build 2 timber frame bungalows in the rear garden.

The house came with a plot for 1 but Kurt approached the neighbor about buying their garden so he could build another one. Price paid for the plot was only £30k which is a bargain as the GDV of the additional bungalow is £450k

Kurt was on my retreat in January and has since quit all his plastering work to focus on developments all the time, he’s also secured an investor for £700k from my network and out looking at other deals today. Really looking forward to seeing these builds progress and Kurt is pretty aggressive with his timescales which is the way I like to work also

This deal was on Rightmove and right there for anyone to do, but you’ve got to take action 😎
