A Proud Milestone at Monks House Lane, Spalding!

We are delighted to announce the successful handover of the first five homes at our Monks House Lane, (Monks Meadow) Spalding development to our valued partners, Accent Group Ltd.

This marks the beginning of a fantastic new community, with a total of 70 high-quality mixed tenure homes being delivered to local residents.
Designed with sustainability and energy efficiency at their heart, every home benefits from:

⚡ Electric Vehicle charging points
🌱 EPC Rating A, helping residents reduce both energy consumption and household running costs.

A huge thank you to everyone involved in achieving this important milestone. From our site teams and supply chain partners to Accent Housing, this successful handover is the result of excellent teamwork and collaboration.

We look forward to completing the remaining homes and welcoming many more residents to this exciting new development over the coming months.

We love receiving updates like this from our residents. It looks like one very happy homeowner is making the most of the recent warm weather at Putters Place!

A big thank you to our resident for sharing this photo, and we're delighted to hear she's also been enjoying plenty of fuss and cuddles from Kim, Luke and Colin on site. 🐶🔨

This Men’s Health Week, we're encouraging everyone to take a moment to check in on themselves and those around them.

The construction and housing industry is built on resilience, hard work and determination, but it's important to remember that looking after our mental wellbeing is just as important as looking after our physical health. Too often, people feel they need to face challenges alone when support is available.

At Seagate Homes, we recognise the importance of creating a culture where conversations around mental health are encouraged, and where people feel comfortable reaching out when they need help.

We would also like to highlight the incredible work of the Lighthouse Charity, which provides free and confidential 24/7 emotional, physical and financial wellbeing support for construction workers and their families. Their services include a dedicated helpline, live web chat, text support and a range of wellbeing resources specifically tailored to our industry.

If you or someone you know is struggling, remember that support is available and no one has to face things alone.

It’s great to see our teams coming together to make a positive impact in the local community.

At our new site in Walsoken, Wisbech, a litter pick was organised with volunteers from Accent Housing and Seagate Homes. Staff generously gave their time to help tidy the area, demonstrating a strong commitment to social value and community pride.

Together, the team collected an impressive 30–40 bags of litter from along the roadside, along with around 20 tyres and other items of fly-tipped waste, making a visible difference to the local environment.

We were also pleased to be supported by and Fenland District Council, whose assistance helped ensure that as much of the collected litter as possible was recycled. Special thanks to Adam Pratt, Environmental Services Manager at Fenland District Council, and Councillor Derek White for their support.

It was a fantastic effort from everyone involved, improving the local environment while also building strong relationships ahead of the development. Initiatives like this may be small, but they play a meaningful role in giving back and ensuring we create a positive legacy from the very beginning.

We’re really looking forward to starting on site and delivering much-needed new homes, supporting local people and contributing to the future of the community.

We're proud to have played a part in delivering this fantastic new community facility for Project St Thomas, helping to create a space that will provide vital money advice and support to residents facing financial pressures.

Projects like this demonstrate the positive impact that can be achieved when local businesses and trades come together to support their communities.

A huge thank you goes to everyone involved in making this happen, including Turnbull & Co Ltd for supplying materials, Kestrel Carpentry, 43 Electrical, SMH Plastering and Boors Decorators for their contributions throughout the project.

It has been a pleasure to support such a worthwhile initiative, and we wish the team at Project St Thomas every success as they begin providing this important service to the local community.

Every year, Seagate Homes offers a fantastic opportunity for a local school student to complete a week of work experience with us.

This year, we made sure to fit our monthly darts competition into that week so our work experience student could join in — and we’re so glad we did!

Although we didn’t quite manage to finish the competition during the week, our work experience student, Lacie, had already made it through to the final. We invited her back to play it out… and what can we say — the Seagate team didn’t stand a chance!

Lacie took the trophy and was crowned this month’s darts champion 🏆

Huge congratulations to her — a brilliant way to wrap up her time with us at Seagate Homes!

Today the office went green to show our support for mental health awareness 💚

In an industry where long hours, pressure and stress can often be seen as “part of the job”, it’s important to take a step back and recognise that mental health matters just as much as physical health.

At Seagate Homes, we believe creating a positive working environment means more than just delivering projects, it means looking after the people behind them too. Whether on site or in the office, encouraging open conversations, checking in on one another and supporting our teams is something we should all make time for.

Wearing green today may seem like a small gesture, but if it helps spark conversations, encourages someone to speak up, or simply reminds people that support is available, then it’s worthwhile.
