This summer has been quite a rollercoaster for weather! While many parts of the world faced intense heat waves, we found ourselves hoping for a bit more sunshine here in the beautiful Highlands. Luckily, we still enjoyed plenty of lovely sunny days and are grateful that we dodged too many scorchers—maybe the Scottish Highlands truly is the perfect getaway!

Our calendar for bookings is open well into the future, and 2027 is already starting to fill up. If you're thinking about planning a visit, now is the perfect time to secure your spot!

Join us this Saturday 11 July from 5–10pm at Glen Spean Brewery for an evening of incredible Filipino food from Kusina ni Luna's food van, great b**r, and a (hopefully) sunny summer evening at the brewery. And if the Lochaber weather doesn't play ball… don’t worry — the food’s hot, the b**r’s cold, the gazebos are up and we’ll all be confidently insisting its just a wee drop and will clear up any minute now! 🍻☀️🍻☀️

Some more recent sunny days! Photos sent from some lovely returning guests, it was about 10 years between stays but they definitely chose the right time to return.
We really treasure our returning guest and feel very fortuanate to have folk who choose to come back time and time again.
Some a few times a year and some a few times a generation it's wonderful to see them be a part of the history of Riverside 😍
