Lincs Rural Calendar Challenge 2019

Our 2019 Calendar / Annual Review features a ‘Celebration of Lincolnshire Food.’ We live in an area which has a wealth of wonderful produce on its doorstep, available all year round. To celebrate we have chosen a number of Lincolnshire Recipes, each one relevant to the month of the year, that you can try at home.
Over the last few years we have set a Calendar Challenge for each month and this year is no exception. We would like you to send in your favourite recipes for each month. They can be sweet or savoury, using any ingredients and we just want to know why it is your favourite. Photos are welcome!
Every month all the recipes will be posted on the website and the staff will choose their favourite one. Whoever is selected will receive a personalised Lincs Rural Star Baker apron.
Our aim by the end of the year is to create a Lincs Rural Recipe Book, making sure that our secret recipes don’t die with the inventor.

Challenge Rules
The challenge is open to everyone and monthly entries must be sent by email or post (Markime House, Pooles Lane, Spilsby, Lincs, PE23 5EY / [email protected]) by the 5th of the following month. Entries must include the recipe, name, address, contact number and why it is a favourite recipe. The Association’s decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
