It’s that time of year when our lovely guests start asking where they can walk from the cottage door! You can find a selection of our favourite local walks by searching

We always recommend walking down the hill in front of the cottage and taking the second gate into Caroline Grove to head around the Lily ponds. The route above is ~7km and takes in Bosherston Lily Ponds, Broadhaven South Beach, Lady Caroline’s Chair and the Devil’s Quoit before returning across the fields and through the woodland in front of the cottage.

If you fancy walking a little bit further afield, the beautiful Angle Peninsula has a lovely 6.5km circular walk which starts and ends at the car park by Wavecrest cafe (worth a pop in for lunch or coffee and cake!)

The section of the Coastal Path between St Govan’s Chapel and Broadhaven South is one of our favourites. At just shy of 5km, it makes for a lovely stroll with glorious views and plenty of bird spotting (Skylarks, Coughs and Fulmar are all resident on this stretch). It’s also worth a little detour down to the stunning bay at New Quay for a picnic or swim!
