RIP Our Great Founder
John Cottis
3rd April 1952 – 9th June 2026

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our founder, John Cottis, on Tuesday 9th June 2026.

John was an extraordinary man. He gave generously of his time, knowledge, and resources to anyone in need. He was never simply a businessman; he was, above all, a true gentleman whose kindness, integrity, and compassion touched countless lives.

For the past five years, John fought with remarkable courage against Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease and most recently, sepsis — the final battle he was unable to overcome.

His legacy will continue to guide us, and we will do everything we can to make him proud.

Steve Kemmann-Lane
25th December 1967 - 15th May 2026

Last Friday Steve passed away after a brief illness.

We are heartbroken and anyone that was lucky enough to know him can appreciate how hard this is for me to write.

He was the most genuine person.
Always concerned for others and put Clay and me above everything.
I could not have wished for a better partner, or a more wonderful Dad and role model for Clay.
We are so grateful he was ours and will try every day to make him as proud as he made us.

A Celebration of Steve’s life will be held.
Saturday May 30th
The Fox and Hounds,
Ramsden Heath, CM11 1PW.
2pm-6pm

Anyone who wants to raise a glass and enjoy hearing lots of memories and fun times are welcome.
