This corner brick and flint section had parted ways with the rest of this 300 year old barn. Took it down to ground level, put down a reinforced footing and rebuilt. Saved a well established birds nest with a little entrance for them to carry on reproducing next year!

A lovely 17th century timber frame/stone cottage covered in the usual cement render and multiple layers of gypsum plaster. Super damp and failing. Same old problem I deal with constantly.
Base coat with best of lime and h**p then finished with limecote. Problem definitely solved. Supplied by

Complete failure on this chimney breast that was only lime plastered 3 years ago! Also damp sections under the window that was covered in cement render. Took it all back to bare brick, let it dry out then warmcote/limecote to let it breathe again.

Back to bare bones on one of my favourite houses. Timber frame from 1620's this wall was covered in multiple layers of plastic paint up the stairway, plus cement patch ups.

Base layer of non hydraulic lime with h**p and fibres, then limecote to finish.
