Many Commercial Landlords are not aware of their legal responsibilities under The Management of Health & Safety at Work Regulations (MHSW) 1999, to protect their employees, tenants, and visitors from Legionnaires Disease.

After long periods of closure, legionella bacteria can grow with water storage tanks and if they are not properly disinfected can cause serious illness and even fatalities.

Many Commercial Landlords are not aware of their legal responsibilities under The Management of Health & Safety at Work Regulations (MHSW) 1999, to protect their commercial tenants and visitors from Legionnaires Disease.

Legionnaires Disease is a potentially fatal form of pneumonia caused by the inhalation of small droplets of contaminated water containing legionella bacteria.
