On behalf of Mrs Camilla West, sincere thanks are extended to everyone who attended the Open Garden event at Atherstone House on Sunday.

Fortunately, the rain stayed away and, despite some cloud cover, it was a bright and enjoyable afternoon that was very well attended. The garden looked stunning, the cakes were delicious, and there was a wonderful atmosphere throughout the event.

We are delighted to announce that an impressive £2,000 was raised, to be shared equally between Friends Of Stratford Hospital and Guide Dogs UK.

Special thanks go to all visitors, as well as to those who helped to plan and organise the event, to everyone who helped on the day and generously donated raffle prizes and cakes for the afternoon teas. Your support and generosity contributed greatly to the success of the event.

She did it!

From the start, we were confident Alice would smash her first half marathon. Like a true professional, she trained hard, stuck to her plan, and completed the race in an impressive 2 hours 26 minutes.

She ran side by side with her running partner Emma all the way to the finish, showing fantastic determination and teamwork.

A brilliant achievement with no injuries—just a pair of well-earned achy legs! We’re absolutely delighted that she proudly wore her medal to work today. Congratulations, Alice! 🏅🎉
