Welcome to Fossil Cottage, Strathkinness located just outside St Andrews, Fife, Scotland. We are an Australian Family living in Scotland – Bec, Dave and our two girls Molly and Annie. We purchased Fossil House in 2018 which and after renovating it thoroughly we had the opportunity to purchase Fossil Cottage in late 2020. Historically both properties were in the same ownership and housed a popular
bed and breakfast business in the 1990’s. During lockdown we renovated and refurbished Fossil Cottage and are now excited to be able to provide self-contained accommodation in this idyllic location. The cottage sleeps 4 and beds both bedrooms can be configured as twins or a double. Please let us know in advance your preference and we will make up beds accordingly. We can sometimes arrange an early check-in so please contact us if you would like to arrive early and we will always try our best to accommodate an earlier check in when we can. Amenities include off street secure parking, fibre optic broadband and fully equipped kitchen. The lounge includes a woodfire, smart TV and a range of games and books. The enclosed garden to the rear of the cottage is exclusively for guests. The village itself is close to St Andrews with lovely views across to St Andrews, the sea and the countryside from the top of Main Street
