💛HELLO SEPTEMBER💛
What a summer we’ve had. Sunshine, heatwaves, long evenings and, for once, enough genuinely glorious weather to make us wonder if we’d accidentally moved abroad.

But September is here, bringing slightly cooler mornings, the return of the school run, new uniforms, packed lunches and the annual mystery of how children have managed to outgrow or lose absolutely everything in six weeks.

There’s something lovely about September though. It always feels like a fresh start.

And if moving home has been sitting on your “we’ll sort that after the summer” list, this is your reminder that Christmas is now very much on the horizon.

💛BANK HOLIDAY WEEKEND💛
Three whole days to relax… and naturally, the British weather has decided to keep us guessing. Sunshine? Showers? A bit of both every 20 minutes? Almost certainly.

Whatever the forecast throws at us, we hope there’s plenty of opportunity to make the most of the long weekend. Pub gardens between showers, Cotswold walks, BBQs under umbrellas or simply doing absolutely nothing. Maybe you’re hitting the high street to prepare for back to school! All perfectly acceptable plans.

We’re open as normal on Saturday, so if house hunting, selling, letting or any advice about finding your next home is on the agenda, our teams are here and ready to help.

We’ll then be closed on Bank Holiday Monday, giving our brilliant teams some well-earned downtime after a super busy August.

💛IS IT FINALLY LOG BURNER WEATHER💛 After weeks of heatwaves, sun cream and wondering whether our gardens would ever be green again… the Great British weather has remembered it’s a Bank Holiday weekend.

Rain? Yes
Fog? Of course.
Grey skies? Naturally.
Temperature dropping? You bet.

Which leaves us asking one very important question…

Is it finally LOG BURNER WEATHER?!

We might only just be waving goodbye to August, but suddenly these beauties in some of our current properties are looking very appealing.

There’s something about a crackling fire, a cosy Cotswold home and the rain doing its worst outside that almost makes us forgive the weather.

Almost.

Because nothing says British Bank Holiday quite like going from a heatwave to contemplating putting the heating on in the space of a few days.

So… too soon for the log burner, or have you already mentally moved into autumn?
