Solihull is underway 🌳

A massive thank you to and their teams for smashing the first phase of site clearance…and for showing us that their kit is considerably cooler than ours! 🚜

I won’t pretend I enjoy watching trees come down. The site is covered by a blanket Tree Preservation Order, and has worked closely with planning consultants, ecologists and the arborist to plan the works and protect the woodland that remains.

We’re currently installing extensive tree and root protection to safeguard the wonderful mature oak trees bordering the development ahead of commencing the groundworks. 🌳

There’s a 30-year plan for the regeneration of the existing woodland. Later in the project, we’ll also be planting additional trees and creating large areas of wildflowers to help restore and create habitat across the site. 🌱🌼

Over two years in the making.

Our involvement with this project began more than two years ago, when we excavated trial holes to investigate the existing collapsed attenuation system.

Since then, the scheme has been through multiple tender rounds, planning and ecology challenges, redesigns and more than a few setbacks. An incredible amount of work has gone into reaching this point from everyone involved.

Now, contracts are signed and we have been appointed as Principal Contractor for the delivery of five new almshouses in Solihull…our largest project to date.

These homes will provide accommodation for people including retired NHS workers and military veterans, which makes being trusted to deliver the scheme particularly meaningful. We’re incredibly proud and genuinely honoured to have won the tender and to be bringing it to life.

Work is now underway, and we’ll be managing the project from enabling works through to completion alongside a brilliant team of consultants, specialist subcontractors and suppliers.

It’s been a long road to reach the starting line.

Now it’s time to deliver 🤝

Another transformation completed in Coton-in-the-Elms 🔨✨

For this ground floor refurbishment, we completely stripped the space back – removing the old kitchen, flooring, and skirting boards to give us a clean slate to work from 🧱

A key part of the project was removing a structural wall and installing a steel beam, opening up the space to create a bright, open-plan kitchen diner 🏡

We then brought it all back to life with a brand new Wren kitchen, continuous LVT flooring throughout, and fresh skirting boards to finish everything off cleanly 👌

A huge difference in both layout and feel – turning a closed-off space into a modern, functional heart of the home 🔥

2 years in the making… and we’re finally on site 🙌

This one in Swadlincote is going to be something special. We’re opening up the full width of the house to create a huge open plan kitchen/living space, packed with natural light and finished with some beautiful brick detailing 👌

Add in loads of glazing and a seriously stunning kitchen choice from the client… and you can see why we’re buzzing about this one.
