Landscaping and construction company Alfies Landscapes & construction and bespoke interior and upholstery company Stella Creations at Home have both secured ground floor suites within the refurbished former shirt factory.

Victoria House and Viney Court were transformed into a range of high quality office spaces of various sizes and benefit from a Café, conference rooms, and onsite parking. We are proud to announce that we have officially handed over the final Housing Association properties at Killams Park, Taunton, to Abri Homes. 🏡

In total, Killams Park has delivered 320 homes across the three phases, with 60 of these being made available under either shared ownership or for social or affordable rent. A further 26 homes were sold under the Summerfield MyHome scheme at 30% less than their market value.

Shared ownership is a government backed scheme designed to help people get on the property ladder. It allows people to purchase a share of the property while paying a reduced rent on the remaining share.

What is a net zero development? 🏡🌱

A net zero development is a housing scheme that produces as much energy as it is targeted to consume over the course of a year. Through energy efficient designs and renewable energy sources, such as solar panels, this can be achieved.

In July 2023, the Home Builders Federation (HBF) reports that new build homes can save homeowners the average energy saving of £180 per month or £2,200 a year. This figure would be expected to rise for net zero properties.
