It’s a contentious subject, and it is always easier to keep your head down below the parapet – but as a local born and bred Tavistock resident myself, estate agency is about more than just commission on houses; it is about actively serving my community.

It's been a non-stop week this week with lots going on.

We are delighted to report a sale has been agreed on our new instruction in Deer Park Crescent.

Quite an emotive move but very pleased we could help the seller on to their next chapter. 😀

New homes are a hot topic in Tavistock right now.

Like many local people, I've been following the debate around the proposed Violet Lane development with great interest. The truth is, I believe Tavistock does have a housing need – especially for young people, key workers and local families struggling to stay in the town they love. ❤

But accepting the need for housing isn't the same as supporting every development that comes forward.

In my latest article, I explore why the conversation should be about building the right homes, in the right places, through the right process.

Delighted that we have exchanged and completed on this town centre apartment in West Street.

A tricky transaction to navigate but thanks to a lovely and committed buyer we got there in the end.

Very pleased that my seller, who is now based in Scotland can now move on without worrying about their property over 500 miles away. ❤

The Cornish Arms…..Where it all began 33 years ago.

Tonight was a bookend to our most amazing week.

Although it’s been back to business we have still been on a high since Monday.

Two lovely new properties to bring you very soon and tomorrow (Sunday) is another work day as we have plenty of catching up to do and three viewings lined up for our new listing in Deer Park Crescent.
