Tonight I was very honoured to attend the Housing and Care Awards in London with Lisa and Chloe and we were all nominated for different awards. 🏆

In a room full of hundreds of people and from thousands of nominations across the country I am so proud to say Sandstone Court had 3 finalists ⭐️✨💫

I am delighted to have won the Housing and Care Manager Award 2026 🎉🏆

But this award isn’t just for me, it’s for my whole team who I’m incredibly proud of and to all our wonderful residents. You all make working at Sandstone a pleasure and I’m so happy we’re getting the recognition we deserve. 💙💚

Thank you to Mandy, our weekly visitor Jan and Lesley who with the help of some of the newly formed pins and needles group have made lovely comfortable cushions for the chairs and benches in the garden at Sandstone Court - just in time for the Sun 😎🤩🌞

From Shannon… Thank you so much to everyone who donated to our sleep out! We’ve raised an incredible amount of £1270 so far. Myself and my team are absolutely over the moon with the total and we know there’s still more to come. We’re truly grateful for every single donation - your support means the world to us ❤️

We faced a cold night, but it was filled with laughter and gave us valuable time to reflect on the reason behind our sleep out. A heartfelt thank you to Lou at the C**k Hotel for kindly letting us use her outdoor space. We are incredibly grateful not only for the venue, but also for the generous support and donations she helped us raise.

Some of our wonderful team have signed up to take part in 'The Great Tommy Sleep Out' on 26th March 2026 to show support and raise much needed funds for our Veterans who are experiencing homelessness and hardship.

They will be spending a night sleeping outside as a group, without any of their home comforts or usual luxuries to experience what our veterans go through every night.
