Well what can I say about this… when you’ve got a customer that is in desperate need of not only a functional bathroom that meets their needs, but also and more importantly one that is safe to use, oh and not to mention modern too.

This was a drastic change but one that was equally needed, from a dysfunctional room which somebody attempted to adapt (unsuccessfully), to a safe, spacious level access bathroom.

We had to take the entire room back to its guts and start again. One of the jobs that had to be done was to dig out the soil pipe so that we could reposition it back to the wall, and let me tell you that was no easy task when we also had to be careful not to damage the existing clay pipe.

When removing a section of loose plasterboard we uncovered an internal door hiding behind it, we had to take this out but also had to be careful that we didn’t damage the wall in the hallway in the process.

A lot of work went into this space to reach the end goal, which was not only a bathroom that the customers deserved but a bathroom they dreamed of.

I could go on about the work that was done and what we’ve installed, but I genuinely believe the pictures do speak for themselves.

On this one we replaced the laminate worktop with as close to like for like as we could. We added Matt black acrylic wall panels. We then upsized the stainless steel sink to a bowl and a half and also drilled a new hole to accommodate a filtered water tap. Underneath the sink we added a multi stage water filter, new bowl and a half waste and tidied up the pipework.

Unfortunately I only took the one before photo on this one.

We started by upsizing the shower area to to make life that little bit easier and to provide longevity for the customer.
We reconfigured the positions of the units to create a more functional and accessible space without compromising on storage. We installed stone coloured handless furniture with a white accent worktop to give us a truly sleek and modern looking space.

We complimented the room with a beautiful blend of sandy coloured tiles with almost colour matched wet wall panels, this was then all tied together with a beautiful wood effect chevron LVT.
