It’s an Incredibly proud moment for us at McCabe Construction to be voted as a finalist at the Oxford Climate Awards.

This award was for the New Build Passivehaus we built in Marston Oxford.

The winner gets revealed in October so we have everything crossed.

This was a quick turn around for us at McCabe Construction for a regular client of ours.

They asked for the external of one of their rentals to be re rendered, new soffits and the garden cleared, new turf laid, and add a small section of patio to the existing.

This is the first time we have used the new EWI cork spray render and we are very impressed.

Completed on this renovation just over a month ago on the abingdon road, wasn’t the easiest project to work on.

However all the team worked incredibly hard and it turned out fantastic in the end.

Little update on one of our projects going on in headington at the moment,

The lads have been incredibly busy getting the roof finished and new solar panels installed,

All the rafter have been insulated and under layered with actis boost r insulation. Which is a fantastic product to use as there is absolutely no dust compared to a PIR insulation equivalent.

All the internal stud work is finished and 1st fix plumbing and electrics installed.✅

All new anthracite grey origin windows and sliding door installed ✅

The team have started boarding the ceilings and walls which should be finished ready for the plasterer next week.

Watch this space for more updates.

We completed on one of our smaller projects today for a great couple in Cowley. This project was a pretty straight forward rear lean to extension but I have to say has turned out beautifully.
