Getting to know your new home 🏡

Moving into a new Clayland home is an exciting moment, and we want you to feel confident from day one. At handover, you’ll receive a folder with everything you need — certificates, warranties, helpful contacts, and guidance on caring for your new home.

In the first few months, it’s perfectly normal for a new build to “dry out” as materials release moisture. You may notice condensation, small cosmetic cracks, or systems settling in. This is all part of the process.

A few simple tips to keep your home happy:
• Ventilate daily and don’t block air vents
• Wipe away condensation and manage moisture from cooking and showers
• Keep your heating at a steady, comfortable temperature
• Expect small cosmetic cracks — these are normal

Take a few minutes to read your handover folder and get to know your new home — a little care now will help it stay beautiful for years to come.
