Wowzer!!!. Have you heard about this film? If you haven’t, take a couple of minutes to watch the trailer – we think this is something EVERYONE - stress EVERYONE! - should see. We don’t often post things like this on the Crofter’s Snug page, but we’re lucky enough to live and work in a part of the world where nature is impossible to ignore - it’s a huge part of why we love living here and why so many of you come to visit and that’s why what happens to our climate and natural world really does feel pretty close to home for us.
Jo and I went along to see the free community screening of The People’s Emergency Briefing last night – a 50-minute film summarising a briefing originally given by leading UK experts to politicians and other decision-makers at Westminster.
It brings together the evidence on climate and nature change and what that could mean for everyday life – including food, health, the economy and national security.
Rather than simply being released online, the film is being shown at community screenings and workplaces, so people watch it together and have the chance to discuss it afterwards.

Check the map for a screening near you or register to host one yourself.
And it’s not just for those of us in the UK. If you’re elsewhere in Europe or further afield, you can get involved too –
